The history of COPAG is directly linked to the history of card games in Brazil. Pioneer in the manufacturing of decks, COPAG has been in this market since the beginning of the century. Albino Gonçalves, a graphic designer, founded the company in 1908 in the city of São Paulo and ever since COPAG has kept its position as the absolute leader in its market segment.

At the beginning the company was only an importing enterprise. However, in 1918 it started manufacturing its own decks. Today, from its modern and large industrial facilities located in Manaus, in the state of Amazonas, COPAG sends part of its production to the international market, exporting decks to the United States as well as to different countries around the World.

Among the various prizes conquered along the years, COPAG 139 was awarded 1st prize at the International Convention of Deck Manufacturers, which was held in London.

Innovation, competence, technology and above all a continuous concern about the human being integrate the daily routine at COPAG, which has always concentrated efforts to keep its innovative position. The greatest evidence of such efforts was the ISO 9002 Certificate, which corroborates the quality of COPAG products, put to test and approved in compliance with the most demanding requirements of an international organization, worldwide renowned.
